Archos 80 Cobalt tablet is official now – features dual core processor
Arhos has just a new Android tablet – Archos 80 Cobalt that follows 97 Carbon and 97 Xenon. As the name shows that the 80 Cobalt offers an 8-inch display, Archos has provided the list of specs but price and availability has been declared yet, we can except that Archos may release the tablet to retailers soon at the end of this year.
The Arhose 80 Cobalt has an captivate touchscreen that features a 1024 x 768 resolution, it’s dual core Android tablet, it features 1.6Ghz processor and quad-core GPU. Arhose packed the tablet with 1GB RAM, it comes with 8GB of internal storage while offering a SD card slot that support cards up to 64GB. 80 Cobalt has 8MP rear camera for photography and 0.3 MP camera on the front side. It also has Wi-Fi and access to Google Play store. The tablet runs Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich operating system, the body is very smooth and easy to grip.
According to specs and features, Archos should announce an affordable price, however the time will tell, we can’t say anything currently. If you’re interested in Archos tablets, don’t forget to share your thoughts in the below comment section.

No 8MP rear camera, disappointingly 2MP with no flash, and speakers also leave a lot to be desired. but for gaming and for price, potential storage expansion of 64mb with a micro SD card, Angry Birds app included, and the beautiful architecture of the Android Ice-Cream Sandwich operating system (may be out-of-date slightly, but I LOVE IT!!!!), this tablet is my best buy of the year 2012.
Also, the speakers can be boosted with various apps on the Google Play Store.
To those who have bought this tablet, as I have for a very modest £69 from Tesco, congratulations and enjoy!!
