How To Disable Lockscreen and Camera Widgets in Android 4.2
The Android 4.2 brought so many new features such as panorama photography mode in camera app, gesture-based keyboard, ability to add widgets on lockscreen and more. Many people love the ability to add widgets on locksreen mostly even Android 4.2 users are able to open the camera app without unlocking the device and of course both are impressive.
The newer camera app widget lets you to open camera app by swiping on lockscreen even on a device with PIN locked, but some people still doesn’t like it as it may unhide their personal information through camera app and even some people don’t like widgets on lockscreen too in an ever-present flashing placeholder. Here you can get rid of both.
A XDA developer has released an app named lockscreen policy that allows you to get rid of it, it’s a free Android app, it enables to disable and enable both options and you can download it from the below link, be sure to visit the original thread of XDA here to thanks/donate the developer too.
