Lock the screen by tapping twice – now available for everyone
The latest LG G2 brings the useful locking feature, simply tap on a specific area of display and your phone is locked. But if you are not a real LG’s fan or you do not want to change your Android’s device due to any reason, you can still enjoy these kinds of features. There are couples of developers trying to make your life easy. They are spreading knock code technology all over the Android’s community. There’s a new “knock lock” application available on Play Store for free which offers you similar security functionality.
You can quickly lock your device by tapping on the display two times with this application. Or I should say knock the phone twice instead of tapping? Whatever I use to talk about LG’s popular “knock code” feature, it sounds good about the functionality of this beautiful and useful app. The usage is pretty straightforward. Once you have installed the knock lock app on your Android phone, launch the app, set which area you want to use and you are good to go. If you think it would show bad impact on the battery life of your phone, you may go wrong. This app should not affect a lot but a little bit.
However it is important to note that you can use this application just for locking and not for unlocking. And select the area carefully because selected area will not be usable for other elements you are using. Before you uninstall this application due to any reason, first remove access (go to Android settings -> security -> Device Admins).
Knock Lock application should work on all of your devices running on Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich or above. Head over to following link and there you can download and flash this app on your phone for free.
