The Samsung Galaxy S4 is now officially receiving the Android 4.4.2 KitKat update on AT&T’s network. The KitKat update should be pop up on your AT&T Galaxy S4 in some coming days. You can check the update’s notification manually as well. Just pick up phone, go to setting, there navigate to “about phone/device” and there you can check the software update notification. Before you start updating your phone on Kitkat, make sure you are connected to a proper Wi-Fi network connection and the battery is charged at least fifty percent. HTC MWC 2014 was not too much interesting as we did not get the flagship phone still. But HTC brought a mid-range flagship phone, HTC Desire 816. It is impressive by the virtue of mid-range price tag and some good features & hardware, such as the large display, powerful camera, LTE support, quad-core chip and more.
USA’s popular mobile carrier Verizon Wireless has confirmed that they are accepting the Samsung Galaxy S5 officially. As for as Verizon has tweeted the Verizon Galaxy S5 sing-up page on Twitter. Keep in mind that the Samsung Galaxy S5 was released just yesterday and it is not available yet. However details we got on phone,.
The Samsung Galaxy S5 has been announced officially and it is quite impressive. Samsung seems to offer the best of Android. I should not stick on just Android’s market because Samsung Galaxy S5 is made to compete all over the world. The Galaxy S5 is shiny, beautiful and interesting. Galaxy S5 first look force is interesting.
In design term, it is a bit refreshed with 5.1-inch display. However it did not improve the resolution, it still runs on 1080p Super AMOLED display technology. Samsung Galaxy S5 brings a USB 3.0 port at the bottom of body and it is safe with tab, which means you won’t get water drops on inside the phone with this path. Samsung Galaxy S5 is not a very traditional TouchWiz phone, it aces a bit different.
The Galaxy S5 uses a swappable back cover and 2800mAh battery. This battery is removable traditionally. Samsung said that the Galaxy S5 features leather-like back cover. So it is very comfortable to carry in hands. Samsung uses metallic material to protect the new GS5. Samsung Galaxy S5 is made with blend of polycarbonate and glass fiber.
The very interesting point to note here, Samsung seems to follow the Sony’s waterproof plan, it is IP67-certified. So you won’t be disappointed when you drop the Galaxy S5 in washroom or anywhere else accidently. It is even possible that Samsung will not announce any special waterproof Galaxy S5 version.
As expected, Samsung Galaxy S5 runs on latest Android 4.4.2 KitKat operating system but it does bring tons of good features including the long-rumored fingerprint sensor. In result of this response to iPhone 5s’s sensor, you can live better on Android. If you are looking for to switch on iPhone 5S from Samsung because of better Apple’s touch ID security, you can change this plan now and still enjoy the Android’s platform with Samsung services. Samsung Galaxy S5 Fingerprint scanner works by swiping your finger down on the home button. Furthermore, there is a useful lock option, you can use fingerprint-protect a private data locker as well. Samsung is partner of PayPal and this partnership enables you to make online payments with fingerprint method.
Samsung Galaxy S5 includes a heart rate sensor as well. The heart rate sensor on Galaxy S5 is located on same rear module as the LED flash light. You can enjoy this feature with the use of Samsung S Health application that works as a personal assistant for health. Holding a finger on sensor will generate the pulse’s pressure. S Health will keep the record of your history.
The specifications of Samsung Galaxy S5 are powerful though but I did not noticed any attention-grabbing part still. The Galaxy S5 packs a 16 megapixel camera which enables you to record UHD videos and HDR. You can use HDR functionality both on photos and videos. There are many useful modes under the Galaxy S5 camera app including a special focus feature. At the front side of this camera phone, Samsung has placed a 2.1 megapixel camera.
Furthermore on hardware side, we can find a 2.5GHz Snapdragon 800 processor, which seems really powerful. Samsung Galaxy S5 packs a 2GB of RAM card. It features an IR Remote (it is might be helpful to turn the phone into a living-room remote).

The Samsung Galaxy S5 is very close to us but not announced yet. We will get the first official glimpse on Galaxy S5 on Monday hopefully at Mobile World Congress. But Amazon is already listing the Spigen cases for Samsung Galaxy S5. Amazon retailer has interestingly shown images that are revealing two versions of Samsung Galaxy S5, however mounted in protective cases.
If these images are real, the Samsung Galaxy S5 can feature dual LED flash lights in rear camera side. These Galaxy S5 cases images do not show the hardware button on one version and the second Galaxy S5 version does not ditch the traditional home button that Samsung is using almost for all of Galaxy S phones.
Samsung Unpacked Event is just around the corner. Samsung has held Unpacked 5 event on Monday February 24 for Mobile World Congress at Barcelona where we can expect the next big thing. And Samsung has confirmed it too. Samsung confirmed that the Next Galaxy is coming on Unpacked 5 event and we hope that it will be the next phone of Galaxy S’s lineup, the Samsung Galaxy S5. Could it be any other device that we do not expect? I do not agree at this time because there is no reason we found here and there that can break the chain. We are very close and are very excited. Stay tuned to us and we will show you what the next galaxy is.
