Step #1: Download the Music Player and transfer it to phone’s SD card.

Step #2: Turn the device off.

Step #3: Reboot the device into recovery mode by holding down the specific combination of buttons, since this combination is different for different devices, you need to search it yourself, I’ll recommend Google to search it.

Step #4: In recovery mode, create a nandroid backup of your current ROM, it’s important to create backup select “Backup and Restore”, and then select “Backup” again.

Step #6: Select “Install Zip from SD Card” then “Choose Zip from SD Card” and locate the downloaded file that you’ve transferred in above step and confirm installation. Wait till installation complete.

Step #7: Once the installation is completed, select “Go Back” after that select “Reboot System Now.”

Step #2: Plug the device to PC using USB cable.

Step #3: Transfer the downloaded file to SD card of device.

Step #4: Disconnect the device from PC.

Step #5: Turn the device off.

Step #6: Reboot the device into recovery mode by holding down the Volume Up button and Home keys until device enter in recovery mode.

Step #7: In recovery mode, create a nandroid backup of your current ROM, it’s important because if anything not work out that you expect from this ROM, you’ll be able to easily revert back to your current state. To create backup select “Backup and Restore”, and then select “Backup” again.

Step #8: Perform full wipe, select Wipe data/factory reset and confirm on next screen, then you also need to select Wipe Cache partition for clearing all the data.

Step #9: Select “Install Zip from SD Card” then “Choose Zip from SD Card” and locate the downloaded CyanogenMod 9 file that you’ve transferred in above step and confirm installation. Wait till installation complete.

Step #10: Now install the Google apps as you install the CM9 in last step.

Step #11: Once the installation is completed, select “Go Back” after that select “Reboot System Now.”

Step #6: Turn the device off.

Step #7: Reboot the device into fastboot mode, to do it first boot the phone in bootloader mode by holding down the Volume Down and Power keys, there select the fastboot to enter in fastboot mode.

Step #9: Plug the device to PC using USB cable and run the Boot.img.bat file file from Android folder. It’ll install a kernel on device, once it done the command window will automatically close.

Step #9: Now on device, navigate to HBOOT and select it, then from bootloader mode, select recovery to enter in recovery.

Step #10: Perform full wipe,  select wipe data/factory reset and conform on next screen.

Step #11: Select “Install Zip from SD Card” then “Choose Zip from SD Card” and locate the downloaded file that you’ve transferred in above step and confirm installation. Wait till installation complete.

Step #12: Once the installation is completed, select “Go Back” after that select “Reboot System Now.”

Step #1: Download the ZSLP5 firmware and Odin 1.85 to computer and unzip the files into a single folder.

Step #2: Double click on Odin 1.85.exe to run the file.

Step #3: Click on Bootloader button in Odin and select the N7000_APBOOT_N7000ZSLPF_CL558430_REV02_user_low_sh ip.tar.md5 from the folder in which you’ve extracted in first step.

Step #4: Click on PDA button and select the N7000_CODE_N7000ZSLPF_CL558430_REV02_user_low_ship .tar.md5 from the same folder.

Step #5: Now click on CSC button and select GT-N7000-MULTI-CSC-OZSLPF.tar.md5 from the same folder.

Step #6: Now click on Phone button and select the MODEM_N7000XXLR1_REV_05_CL1144476.tar.md5 from the same folder. (Note: don’t make any other changes in Odin).

Step #7: Turn the device off.

Step #8: Reboot the device into download mode by holding down Volume Down and Home and Power buttons till a warring screen appear on device, then press the Volume up button to enter in download mode.

Step #9: Once you’re in download mode plug the device to PC using USB cable. Odin will detect the device, ID:COM will turn yellow and a message saying ADDED will appear.

Step #10: Click on Start button to start installation, once the installation is done, your device will reboot itself and you’ll see message saying PASS in Odin.
