Android 4.1.1 Jelly Bean Based AOKP for Galaxy S2 GT-I9100
More and more Android devices are getting Android 4.1.1 Jelly Bean based CyamogenMod 10 and AOKP, the CyanogenMod 10 is already available for the Samsung Galaxy S2 and now Jelly Bean AOKP is also available for the Galaxy S2 unofficially, it’s unofficial build but fully pure AOKP build that also features CM kernel, the ROM has number of useful customizable features like you’ll enjoy new Jelly Bean features and apps such as better keyboard, camera app, notification bar, Google Now and more. It’s alpha build, so you can expect bugs like Network on some basedbands and modems aren’t working, however it’s ready to try, thanks to senior XDA developer member Rushabh25.

Make a backup of your device data such as SMS, internet setting, contacts music files etc because the below procedure may wipe data, you can sync your contacts with Gmail account and for messages use SMS apps, lastly use file expert app to backup apps.

Step #1: Download the latest version of ROM from here [XDA LINK].
Step #2: Transfer the downloaded files to the internal SD card of device.
Step #3: Turn the device off.
Step #4: Reboot the device into recovery mode by holding down volume up, home and power buttons.
Step #5: In recovery mode, create a nandroid backup of your current ROM, it’s important because if anything not work out that you expect from this ROM, you’ll be able to easily revert back to your current state. To create backup select “Backup and Restore”, and then select “Backup” again.
Step #6: Perform full wipe, first select the wipe data/factory reset, and confirm on the next screen.
Step #7: Select “Install Zip from SD Card” then “Choose Zip from SD Card” and locate the downloaded ROM file that you’ve transferred in above step and confirm installation. Wait till installation complete.
Step #8: Once the installation is completed, select “Go Back” after that select “Reboot System Now.”
