The Android 4.1.1 Jelly Bean has been ported to another Galaxy S2 variant via AOKP custom ROM. The ROM brings a smooth performance and offers lots of customizable features, as many of you know well about the new version Google’s mobile operating system, like Google Now, new on-screen keyboard, new notification bar and much more.
However the ROM is still in beta stage, it’s just an alpha build of AOKP ROM, you may expect bugs, the camera isn’t working and you also may face problems in audio. Developer will fix them in near future.
Take look at below guide to install Android 4.1.1 Jelly Bean on your AT&T Galaxy S2 Skyrocket. ClockworkMod recovery is installed on your device, make a backup of your device data such as SMS, internet setting, contacts music files etc because the below procedure may wipe data, you can sync your contacts with Gmail account and for messages use SMS apps, lastly use file expert app to backup apps.

Step #2: Transfer the downloaded files to internal SD card of device.
Step #3: Turn the device off.
Step #4: Reboot the device into recovery mode by holding down Volume up, volume down and power buttons until device turns on.
Step #5: In recovery mode, create a nandroid backup of your current ROM, it’s important because if anything not work out that you expect from this ROM, you’ll be able to easily revert back to your current state. To create backup select “Backup and Restore”, and then select “Backup” again.
Step #6: Perform full wipe, first select the wipe data/factory reset, and confirm on the next screen then select wipe cache and confirm on the next screen. Lastly wipe delvik cache from advanced.
Step #7: Select “Install Zip from SD Card” then “Choose Zip from SD Card” and locate the downloaded ROM .zip file that you’ve transferred in above step and confirm installation. Wait till installation complete.
Step #8: Repeat last step to install Google Apps .zip file.
Step #9: Once again, repeat step 7 to install SuperSu .zip file.
Step #10: Once the installation is completed, select “Go Back” after that select “Reboot System Now.” The first boot may take time, so wait.
