Camera MOD for Xperia Ray for Quick Capture, Improve Sound and Smooth Recording

The Sony Xperia Ray comes with 8 mega-pixel camera that features 3264×2448 pixel, autofocus option and LED flash, it lets you to record videos on 720p. But if you want to add some more features to your camera, here’s an interesting for your Xperia Ray. A senior XDA developer member had developed MooDeD Camera ICS, the MOD is originally developed for Xperia ARC but now also works on Xperia Ray and has some more features. The MOD lets you to capture photos quickly and also lets you to record smooth HD video even with high quality stereo sound, the ROM improve the camera quality and add some new features to your camera app.

Bear in mind that the MOD work on just Xperia Ray running Ice Cream Sandwich, the MOD has been tested on an Xperia RAY running official Android 4.0.4 Ice Cream Sandwich firmware and before you install first you need to clear data on the camera app. A custom recovery must be installed on your phone.

To install the MOD, first download the MooDeD Camera ICS from here, then place the .zip file to the internal SD card of your Xperia Ray, then turn the phone off and reboot into recovery mode and in recovery mode install the .zip file you transferred, do comment below if you faced any issue and you can also visit the original thread of XDA here for information and to donate the developer for this effort.
