CyanogenMod 10 Jelly Bean available for Galaxy S2 I9100G [How-To]
Own a Galaxy S2 I9100G and want to taste Jelly Bean? Well! It’s possible now, as most of you have noticed that after the release of Jelly Bean AOSP source code, developers are porting the CyanogenMod 10 (CM10) continuously to their Android devices that also has been ported to your Samsung Galaxy S2 I9100G, based on Android 4.1 Jelly Bean.
The CM10 isn’t available for international Galaxy S2 GT-I9100, it’s bit surprising, thanks to recognized XDA developer member codeworkx. It’s official Cyanogen Mod 10 build that gives you completely stock Jelly Bean experience but still a preview build, you can use it to just taste Android 4.1 Jelly Bean. The ROM has serious audio bugs but if you really want to taste new CyanogenMod 10 Android 4.1 Jelly Bean, read on how to install it on your Galaxy S2 I9100G.
Keep in mind that your device should be on XXLPQ with ClockworkMod recovery installed, check device detail from Setting>About Phone, you can follow our this guide install XXLPQ and follow this guide to install ClockworkMod recovery. Make a backup of your device data such as SMS, internet setting, contacts music files etc because the below procedure may wipe data, you can sync your contacts with Gmail account and for messages use SMS apps, lastly use file expert app to backup apps.

Step #2: Copy both .zip files to SD card of device.
Step #3: Turn the device off.
Step #4: Reboot the device into recovery mode by holding down volume up, home and power buttons.
Step #5: In recovery mode, create a nandroid backup of your current ROM, it’s important because if anything not work out that you expect from this ROM, you’ll be able to easily revert back to your current state. To create backup select “Backup and Restore”, and then select “Backup” again.
Step #6: Perform wipe, first select the wipe data/factory reset, and confirm on the next screen.
Step #7: Select “Install Zip from SD Card” then “Choose Zip from SD Card” and locate the downloaded CM10 .zip file that you’ve transferred in above step and confirm installation. Wait till installation complete.
Step #8: Repeat the last step but this time install Google Apps Package .zip file.
Step #9: Once the installation is completed, select “Go Back” after that select “Reboot System Now.”
