CyanogenMod 10 Releases for Sprint Galaxy S3 [How-To]
The CyanogenMod 10 (CM10) has also been released for the Sprint Galaxy S3 SPH-L710, it based on Android 4.1 Jelly Bean and it’s official, thanks to XDA developer member noobnl. Although it’s official version of CyanogenMod 10 but it’s still a preview build and not ready for daily drive.
The ROM has many bugs like the camera gets green during animations, it also may crash, you can’t use MMS downloading yet, however you have option to send and receive, you should use a third party MMS app from the Google Play store.
Follow the below guide to install CyanogenMod 10 (CM10) on Sprint Galaxy S3 but first make sure that ClockworkMod recovery is installed on your device, don’t use any other recovery, be sure to follow our guide to install CWM and make a backup of your device data such as SMS, internet setting, contacts music files etc because the below procedure may wipe data, you can sync your contacts with Gmail account and for messages use SMS apps, lastly use file expert app to backup apps.

Step #2: Copy both downloaded files into internal SD card of device, don’t place under external SD card.
Step #3: Turn the device off and put the device in recovery, to do so reboot the device by holing down home, volume up and power buttons.
Step #4: Once you’re in recovery, be sure to make a nandroid backup of your current ROM that will allow you to go back to original ROM, to make just select “Backup and Restore”, and then select “Backup” again.
Step #5: Perform full wipe, first select the wipe data/factory reset, and confirm on the next screen.
Step #6: Select “Install Zip from SD Card” then “Choose Zip from SD Card” and locate the CM10 .zip file that you’ve transferred and confirm installation. Once the ROM is installed on the device, also install the Google Apps package .zip file in the same manner.
Step #7: Once you’ve installed both .zip files, select “Go Back” after that select “Reboot System Now.”
