Download Cyanogenmod File Manager APK – Now Available Separately
The CyanogenMod team has packed their custom ROM with a useful and customizable file manager app, CyanogenMod is AOSP (Android Open Source Project) based custom ROM but now CyanogenMod team is also developing their own apps such as the Apollo music player and now the file manager app is also available. CM file manager app lets you to view your files from SD card and system partitions using the root access. This file manager is pretty simple and easy to use, it offers a lot of useful features and it would be available on CyanogenMod 10 version soon in near future.
It’s important to note that the file manager is currently in early stages, you might face a few bugs in root access, you can browse your files but can’t edit them, but it works file and CyanogenMod will improve it and deliver a more stable version soon in near future. So must give it a try if you love CyanogenMod.
This CyanogenMod file manager requires Android devices running Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich or above, you can check your device detail from Setting>About Device. However sometime it might fail on Android 4.0. To install the app, download the APK from here, place it to your device, go to Setting>Security and there enable “unknown sources”, then locate the file, tap on it to start installation. That’s it.
