You can find number of things to enjoy on an Android device such as new features, apps, UI and more because Android is open source operating system. Sometime when you use any feature, after a few days due to some reasons, the feature will be changed and not be how you remember that feature. You can take the example of international variant of Samsung Galaxy Note, Samsung has released Ice Cream Sandwich update and the update void Wi-Fi calling ability, which is very bad.

So you what we can do to fix this issue? Say thanks to XDA developer member mrcasmir who release a fix, he made a method for Samsung Galaxy Note running Ice Cream Sandwich that will restore Wi-Fi calling on the device, it will modify the framework-res-apk to let SIP, which lets Wi-Fi calling.

This isn’t a Mod, it will also enable Internet call Wi-Fi and 3G and you can also change the orientation, meaning you can rotate the device screen. When you’ll plug USB cable, it will turn the screen off, and it also features tablet-like boxes.

So if you’re interested first you need make make a backup of your device data such as SMS, internet setting, contacts music files etc because the procedure may wipe data, you can sync your contacts with Gmail account and for messages use SMS apps, lastly use file expert app to backup apps. If your device is rooted and ClockworkMod recovery is installed on your device, you can easily apply this method to enjoy Wi-Fi calling, however there’re some other ways to apply the method on non-rooted device.
