Flash ClockworkMod Recovery For Pantech Burst
The Pantech Burst runs the Android 2.3.5 Gingerbread but if you want upgrade it to newer version of Android or just want to install custom ROMs that enhance the performance of phone and adds new tweaks, you need a custom recovery such as the ClockworkMod (CWM) recovery. The ClockworkMod is easy to use custom recovery for installation of .zip files (containing custom ROMs, MODs and more), taking the backup, wiping device and more.

Instructions
Step #1: Download the ClockworkMod Recovery (cwm-5.0.2.7-presto.img) to your PC.
Step #2: Place the downloaded cwm-5.0.2.7-presto.img to the C:\Program Files (x86)\Android\android-sdk\platform-tools”.
Step #3: Plug your Pantech Burst to the PC using the USB cable.
Step #4: Run the command prompt and navigate to the C:\Program Files (x86)\Android\android-sdk\platform-tools” folder, if you’re using the Windows 7 or above, you can open the file directly from the folder, to do so open the folder, there right click on the mouse while holding down the shift button on keyboard and then select open command prompt.
Step #5: On the command prompt enter following command:
adb reboot bootloader
Your phone will reboot into bootloader mode.
Step #6: Once you’re in bootloader mode, enter another following command, it will install the recovery:
fastboot flash recovery cwm-5.0.2.7-presto.img
Step #7: Once the recovery is installed, you’ll get a message finished/okay, then enter another following command to reboot the phone:
fastboot reboot
Step #8: Unplug the phone from PC.
That’s it, you’re done, the ClockworkMod recovery is installed on your phone. To put phone into recovery mode, turn the phone off, then reboot the phone by holding down the volume down and power button and in recovery mode use volume keys to navigate and power button to select.

i have pantech burst. It is rebooting into bootloader mode.but it fails to excecutes the rest of the command because of it is not detected by the computer
