Galaxy Nexus “JRO03H” Jelly Bean Build for Galaxy S2
There are already some Jelly Bean custom ROMs are available for the Samsung Galaxy S2 and here’s another latest AOSP based Android 4.1 Jelly Bean custom ROM, JRO03H, as most of you know that JRO03H is Android 4.1 Jelly Bean build for the Galaxy Nexus that has no modification and gives you stock Android Jelly Bean experience, it’s pretty easy to taste Jelly Bean and its new features and apps such as new notification bar, new camera app, Google Now app and more, thanks to XDA developer member cile381. Since Jelly Bean based ROMs are still in development stages, bugs can be expected.
Take a look at below steps to install JRO03H custom ROM on your Galaxy S2 I9100. Keep in mind that your device should be on XXLPQ with ClockworkMod recovery installed, check device detail from Setting>About Phone, you can follow our this guide install XXLPQ and follow this guide to install ClockworkMod recovery. Make a backup of your device data such as SMS, internet setting, contacts music files etc because the below procedure may wipe data, you can sync your contacts with Gmail account and for messages use SMS apps, lastly use file expert app to backup apps.

Step #1: Download the latest version of ROM from here [XDA LINK] and Google Apps.
Step #2: Transfer the downloaded files to phone.
Step #3: Turn the device off.
Step #4: Reboot the device into recovery mode by holding down volume up, home and power buttons.
Step #5: In recovery mode, create a nandroid backup of your current ROM, it’s important because if anything not work out that you expect from this ROM, you’ll be able to easily revert back to your current state. To create backup select “Backup and Restore”, and then select “Backup” again.
Step #6: Perform full wipe, first select the wipe data/factory reset, and confirm on the next screen.
Step #7: Select Install and locate the downloaded ROM .zip file that you’ve transferred in above step and confirm installation. Wait till installation complete. Once the installation is done, install Google Apps package zip file in the same manner.
Step #8: Once the installation is completed, select “Go Back” after that select “Reboot System Now” to reboot the phone.
