Galaxy S2 Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean I9100XXLSJ Firmware Update Leaks – Installation
Last month Samsung said that they’ll release the Jelly bean update soon for the Samsung Galaxy S2 and now seems true on words and we’re closer to Galaxy S2 Jelly Bean update release because Galaxy S2 has just received a leaked Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean firmware – I9100XXLSJ, thanks to XDA developer member izap.
It’s alpha Jelly Bean firmware for the Galaxy S2 but it reportedly works fine and it’s very stable, even as I said that XXLSJ firmware is based on Android 4.1.2 instead of Android 4.1.1, which suggest us that Samsung has skipped the Android 4.1.1 and is going to update Galaxy S2 directly to Android 4.1.2. Since this is very stable build, hopefully Galaxy S2 will receive official Jelly Bean update in a few days.
This new firmware comes with a lot of improvements such as smooth performance, new TouchWiz Nature UX (it has been used in Galaxy S3 and Galaxy Note 2), cloud service, new widgets, tow home screen modes, improved notification bar, Google Now and more.
