Get Android 4.0.4 ICS on HTC One V via ParanoidAndroid Hybrid ROM
The colorful Paranoid Android Hybrid ROM already has been ported to so many Android devices and now also has been ported to HTC One V, it’s really unique custom ROM, it based on Android 4.0.4 Ice Cream Sandwich and available for both variants, CDMA HTC One V and GSM HTC One V, thanks to senior XDA developer member 1ceb0x for GSM version and thanks to XDA developer member salvy512 for CDMA version.
The ROM is very stable for the daily use, it gives you faster performance on your HTC One V, but do note that both versions are still in development, so you might notice bugs, on CDAM version, Bluetooth and notification light aren’t working now, on the other hand, on GSM version, just Bluetooth isn’t working.

Before you install the ROM, you also need to make a backup of your device data such as SMS, internet setting, contacts music files etc because the below procedure may wipe data, you can sync your contacts with Gmail account and for messages use SMS apps, lastly use file expert app to backup apps. Installation is pretty easy, put the phone into recovery mode, make the backup of existing ROM in recovery mode, it’s important because if anything not work out that you expect from this ROM, you’ll be able to easily revert back to your current state, to create backup select “Backup and Restore”, and then select “Backup” again.
