Get Rid of Samsung Galaxy S3 Battery Bug
The flagship smartphone of Korean company has battery bug, when Galaxy S3 is in the idle mode or the device shows that it’s in stand by, it will consume battery charge very low, some users reported that there’s serious bug as shown in above image the device being on stand by but a recognized contributor bala_gamer over XDA has released a temporary fix.
It’s really easy to fix the issue, first of all open the framework-res.apk file using a WinZip or any other software and go to the “framework-res\res\xml” file, there select “power_profile.xml” file and add the one which can be grabed here. After that transfer the framework-res.apk file back into your smartphone and reboot the phone.
If above fix doesn’t work on the device, you no need to worry just download the CWM Battery Fix and save on the PC, then plug your Samsung Galaxy S3 to your computer to get the same to the phone. Then unplug the phone from the PC and put it to recovery mode, to do so turn it on back by holding down Volume Up, Menu Key and Power buttons until screen turns on, once you’re in recovery mode, select “Install Zip from SD Card” and locate the downloaded file that you’ve transferred, do note that the procedure may take time so you should wait until it done.
Once you’ve applied the one of above method, you’re ready to go. You can comment below for queries or head over to original thread of XDA here to donate the developer for this great effort or for more information.
