How To Install CleanROM for Nexus 10 P8110
The Google Nexus 10 shines with impressive high-end specifications and Jelly Bean 4.2 while the Android development community doesn’t love to run out making some handy custom ROMs to support the tablet with customization. A recognized XDA developer member scrosler has released a new custom ROM for the Nexus 10 named CleanROM.
CleanROM for Nexus 10 is designed for those of you who love to use stock ROM but with the ability to choose the features and functions they want, demand performance and expect stability, the custom ROM is De-Odex, it offers a fast, light, clean and stable interface while offers handy tweaks for customization such as many launchers (Stock, Nova, Apex), Adobe Flash, ES File Explorer, Ad Blocking Host File, DropBox, Android Terminal Emulator, QuickOffice Viewer, extended power menu, Tablet UI patch and more.

Your Nexus 10 must have unlocked bootloader with a custom recovery, you can follow this guide to install ClockworkMod recovery or this guide to install TWRP recovery (it’s recommended) and check this guide to unlock bootloader. You can also use all-in-one toolkit to do so. Backup everything make a backup of your device data such as SMS, internet setting, contacts music files etc because the below procedure may wipe data, you can sync your contacts with Gmail account and for messages use SMS apps, lastly use file expert app to backup apps.

Step #1: Download the CleanROM for Nexus 10 from here.
Step #2: Transfer the downloaded file to your Nexus 10 tablet.
Step #3: Turn the device off.
Step #4: Reboot the device into recovery mode, to do so reboot tablet by holding down volume down and power buttons until you enter in bootloader mode, there select and enter in recovery (Note: In recovery mode use volume keys to navigate and power button to select).
Step #5: In recovery mode, create a nandroid backup of your current ROM, it’s important because if anything not work out that you expect from this ROM, you’ll be able to easily revert back to your current state. To create backup select “Backup and Restore”, and then select “Backup” again. If you’re using TWRP recovery, select “backup” and confirm action.
Step #6: Perform full wipe, first select the wipe data/factory reset, and confirm on the next screen, if you’re on TWRP, select “wipe” and then factory reset.
Step #7: Return to main menu by selecting “Go Back”.
Step #8: Select “Install Zip from SD Card” then “Choose Zip from SD Card” and locate the downloaded file that you’ve transferred in above step and confirm installation.
Step #9: Pick options.
Step #10: Once the installation is completed, select “Go Back” after that select “Reboot System Now” to reboot your Nexus 10.
