How To Install CleanROM for Nexus 7
The Nexus 7 is one of lucky tablet that bring Android 4.1 Jelly Bean out of box even Google has released the Android 4.2 Jelly Bean update for the smartphone too, however if you want something more, try some customization tweaks to tweak the interface of your Nexus 7 and Clean custom ROM offers decent tweaks to do so.

Step #2: Transfer both zip files to your Nexus 7.
Step #3: Turn the device off.
Step #4: Reboot the device into recovery mode by holding down volume down and power button (Note: In recovery mode use volume keys to navigate and power button to select).
Step #5: In recovery mode, create a nandroid backup of your current ROM, it’s important because if anything not work out that you expect from this ROM, you’ll be able to easily revert back to your current state. To create backup select “Backup and Restore”, and then select “Backup” again.
Step #6: Perform full wipe, first select the wipe data/factory reset, and confirm on the next screen.
Step #7: Return to main menu by selecting “Go Back”.
Step #8: Select “Install Zip from SD Card” then “Choose Zip from SD Card” and locate the downloaded ROM zip file that you’ve transferred in above step and confirm installation.
Step #9: Choose kernel & options.
Step #10: Select “Wipe Cache” and confirm action.
Step #11: From main menu, select advance, then select “wipe Dalvik Cache” and confirm the action.
Step #12: Once the installation is completed, select “Go Back” after that select “Reboot System Now” to reboot your Nexus 7.
Step #13: Let the ROM stabilize.
