How To Install codefireX ROM for Nexus 4
The Google Nexus 4 – of course this is one of hottest smartphone now-a-days due to latest Android OS and high-end specs but some people don’t like to have just stock OS on their smartphones, this is the reason, the Android development community develop custom ROMs for, the Nexus 4 seems to receiving especial development attention like here’s codefireX custom ROM for your Google Nexus 4.
The codefireX ROM is also AOSP-based ROM but offers a lot of customization options including quick setting that allow you optimize the interface of your Nexus 4 such as strict aliasing, -O3, Linaro optimizations, and much more. However it’s still in development, which means it may contains issues but the developer will hopefully fix everything bug you face.

Step #2: Transfer both zip files to your Nexus 4.
Step #3: Turn the device off.
Step #4: Reboot the device into recovery mode, to do so reboot phone by holding down volume, volume down and power buttons to enter in bootloader mode, there select recovery option to enter in recovery mode.
Step #5: In recovery mode, create a nandroid backup of your current ROM, it’s important because if anything not work out that you expect from this ROM, you’ll be able to easily revert back to your current state. To create backup select “Backup and Restore”, and then select “Backup” again.
Step #6: Perform wipe, select the wipe data/factory reset, and confirm on the next screen then select wipe cache and confirm on the next screen. Lastly select Advanced, then Wipe Dalvik Cache and confirm the action.
Step #7: Return to main menu by selecting “Go Back”.
Step #8: Select “Install Zip from SD Card” then “Choose Zip from SD Card” and locate the downloaded ROM file that you’ve transferred in above step and confirm installation.
Step #9: Repeat the previous step and install the Google Apps package.
Step #10: Once the installation is completed, select “Go Back” after that select “Reboot System Now” to reboot phone.
