It was Motorola XOOM that received Android 4.1.1 Jelly Bean update first and second one is ASUS Transformer TF300T, recently ASUS rolled out the Jelly Bean update for Transformer TF300T in United State of America and will be available in other countries soon in near future but if you’re in US and can’t wait for the update or if you haven’t received update notification on your US Transformer TF300T due to any reason, install the Jelly Bean update manually on your ASUS tablet.
Before you get started, first do keep in mind that the bootloader of your tablet must be unlocked and tablet also should be rooted, both will void the warranty of your tablet, so if you’re comfortable, stay away from this installation and wait for update, if you want to install the update manually, first unlock the bootloader here, then install ClockworkMod recovery, be sure to follow our this guide to install recovery.
Make a backup of your device data such as SMS, internet setting, contacts music files etc because the below procedure may wipe data, you can sync your contacts with Gmail account and for messages use SMS apps, lastly use file expert app to backup apps.

Step #2: Transfer the downloaded file to the internal SD card of device.
Step #3: Turn the device off.
Step #4: Reboot the device into recovery mode by holding down Volume down and power button, when a message saying “Press Vol. Up to enter RCK (5s)” appears on the device, press volume up button and device will enter into recovery mode (Note: In recovery mode use volume keys to navigate and power button to select).
Step #5: In recovery mode, create a nandroid backup of your current ROM, it’s important because if anything not work, you’ll be able to easily revert back to your current state. To create backup select “Backup and Restore”, and then select “Backup” again.
Step #6: Perform full wipe, first select the wipe data/factory reset, and confirm on the next screen. After that select advanced, then select wipe dalvik cache.
Step #7: Return to main menu, there select “Install Zip from SD Card” then “Choose Zip from SD Card” and locate the downloaded file that you’ve transferred in above step and confirm installation. Wait till installation complete.
Step #8: Once the installation is completed, select “Go Back” after that select “Reboot System Now” to reboot tablet.
Step #9: As I said above that your tablet must be rooted, so you need to root the ICS firmware you’ve installed, to do so, download Automated Rooting Toolkit to your PC.
Step #10: Unzip the downloaded .zip file into a folder.
Step #11: On your tablet, turn the USB Debugging on, to do so just tap Menu> Settings> Development. Then also enable Unknown resources from Setting>Security.
Step #12: Plug the tablet to your PC using a USB cable.
Step #13: Open the folder where you’ve unzipped above file, there run RootDebugfs, it will start rooting, the tablet might reboot during rooting, once the tablet is rooted, unplug the tablet from PC.
Step #15: Unzip the downloaded command.zip file, you’ll get a folder containing “command” file.
Step #16: Download File Expert file manager app and install on your tablet from Play Store.
Step #17: Place both downloaded dlpkgfile and command files to your device.
Step #18: Use File Expert app, and copy dlpkgfile to /cache folder and the file command to /cache/recovery.
Step #19: Turn off the tablet.
Step #20: Reboot device into recovery by holding Volume Down and Power until the message shows up saying “Press Vol. Up to enter RCK (5s)”. Then, press Volume Up, after that, the installation of Jelly Bean update will start. Wait until the installation is done, after installation the device will reboot into Jelly Bean firmware.
That’s it, the Jelly Bean has been installed on your Transformer Pad TF300T, enjoy!
