The latest lovely guy in Galaxy family, Samsung Galaxy S4, has been entered in development community and we expect the community will bump up numerous apps and ROMs for phone. Many of you love to load them on your phone but before you go for any custom ROM, a custom recovery needs to be installed on your Galaxy S4 and the good part is that TeamWin has officially released the TWRP Recovery 2.5 for AT&T Galaxy S4.

TWRP Recovery gives you a lot more than installation of custom ROMs, backups and wipe such as a file manager, theme engine, battery percentage, clock and much more, so if you often play around the world with custom ROMs for your AT&T, TWRP recovery can be a good assistant.

This guide shows you how to install official TWRP recovery 2.5 on AT&T Galaxy S4. Make sure you are using a Windows PC and phone drivers are installed, you can use KIES to install drivers but once driver installation is done, disable KIES because it may irritate recovery installation. Keep in mind that your Galaxy S4 must have unlocked bootloader.

If you’re rooted user, get rid of below guide and use the ROM Manager app to install TWRP (TeamWin Recovery Project).
