How To Install TWRP Recovery for Xperia T
The TWRP recovery (Team Win Recovery Project) is not limited to just installation of custom ROMs, nandroid backups and wipe because the TWRP custom recovery offers so many unqiue features that you can’t find under other custom recoveries such as theme engine, keyboard to name and rename your backups, built-in file manager app and more. Sony Xperia T can now taste the TWRP recovery, thanks to TeamWin.

Step #1: Download the TWRP recovery file for your Xperia T from here.
Step #2: Copy the zip file to your phone.
Step #3: Turn your Xperia T off.
Step #4: Reboot the phone into recovery mode, to do so to do so reboot phone by holding down volume down and power buttons.
Step #5: In recovery mode, create a nandroid backup of your current ROM, it’s important because if anything goes not work, you’ll be able to easily revert back to your current state. To create backup select “Backup and Restore”, and then select “Backup” again.
Step #6: Return to main menu by selecting “Go Back”.
Step #7: Select “Install Zip from SD Card” then “Choose Zip from SD Card” and locate the downloaded recovery zip file that you’ve transferred in above step and confirm installation.
Step #8: Once the installation is completed, select “Go Back” after that select “Reboot System Now” to reboot phone.
