How To Install TWRP Recovery on AT&T Galaxy Note
TWRP recovery has become a best competitor for ClockworkMod Recovery, it’s pretty easy to install .zip files (containing custom ROMs, MODs, hacks and more), take the backup of device, wipe device and more with the TWRP recovery. It’s touch-enabled custom recovery, so you can use touch controls in recovery mode instead of physical keys.

The below guide will walk you through how to install TWRP recovery on AT&T Galaxy Note SGH-I717, the ClockworkMod Recovery must be installed on your phone, you may use this guide to install ClockworkMod recovery.

Instructions
Step #1: Download the latest version of TWRP Recovery from here [Official Page].
Step #2: Transfer the downloaded .zip file to the internal SD card of device.
Step #3: Turn the device off.
Step #4: Reboot the device into recovery mode by holding down volume up and power buttons, when screen turns on, leave the power button but not volume up key until it take you to recovery mode.
Step #5: Select “Install Zip from SD Card” then “Choose Zip from SD Card” and locate the downloaded .zip file that you’ve transferred in above step and confirm installation. Wait till installation complete.
Step #6: Once the installation is completed, select “Go Back” after that select “Reboot System Now.”
That’s it, the TWRP Recovery is now installed on your AT&T Galaxy Note, when you need to use recovery mode, simply turn the phone off, then reboot phone by holding down volume up, volume down and power buttons, when screen turns on, leave power button but now volume keys until it take you TWRP recovery mode.
