How To Install Xylon ROM for Nexus 4
Is stock OS of your Google Nexus 4 boring you? Well! Here’s something that can help you to make some fun with your phone named Xylon ROM developed by a recognized XDA themer DaXmax. The Xylon ROM is formerly known as FNVAOSP and it’s based on AOSP too but is packed with numerous new features you should try.
Xylon ROM offers reboot menu with different options – Reboot, Recovery, Bootloader, expanded desktop, T9 Dialer app, theme manager, many customization options and much more.

Step #1: Download the Xylon custom ROM for Nexus 4, Google Apps package, and Photosphere and Gesture in Keyboard package from here [XDA Link].
Step #2: Transfer downloaded zip files to your Nexus 4.
Step #3: Turn the device off.
Step #4: Reboot the device into recovery mode, to do so reboot phone by holding down volume, volume down and power buttons to enter in bootloader mode, there select recovery option to enter in recovery mode.
Step #5: In recovery mode, create a nandroid backup of your current ROM, it’s important because if anything not work out that you expect from this ROM, you’ll be able to easily revert back to your current state. To create backup select “Backup and Restore”, and then select “Backup” again.
Step #6: Perform wipe, select the wipe data/factory reset, and confirm on the next screen then select wipe cache and confirm on the next screen. Lastly select Advanced, then Wipe Dalvik Cache and confirm the action.
Step #7: Return to main menu by selecting “Go Back”.
Step #8: Select “Install Zip from SD Card” then “Choose Zip from SD Card” and locate the downloaded ROM file that you’ve transferred in above step and confirm installation.
Step #9: Repeat the previous step and install the Google Apps package.
Step #10: Repeat step 8 and install the PhotosphereGestures.zip.
Step #11: Once the installation is completed, select “Go Back” after that select “Reboot System Now” to reboot phone.
