How To Root Droid RAZR and RAZR MAXX Android 4.1 Jelly Bean update
In recent times the Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean update was released for the original Motorola Droid RAZR and RAZR MAXX that now can be rooted easily, so those of you have updated their smartphone to Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean and looking for a way to root the update to get full control over the device, here they can do so, thanks to Droid RAZR Forums developer Dan Rosenberg.
The below guide shows you how to root Droid RAZR and Droid RAZR MAXX on Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean update and it’s pretty simple, all you need to use a automated toolkit to do so. Make sure you’re on Windows PC and USB drivers are installed on the PC, you can download drivers from here. On your phone, turn the USB Debugging on, to do so just tap Menu> Settings> Application> Development.

Step #1: Download the Rooting Package to your PC and unzip into a folder.
Step #2: Open the folder where you’ve unzip the above package and open run file.
Step #3: Download and Install SmartActions app on the phone.
Step #4: Plug the phone to PC using a USB cable, Window may ask for driver installation, let it finish.
Step #5: Press any key to start rooting and then follow on screen instructions. Once the rooting is done, your phone will reboot itself.
Step #6: Unplug the phone from PC.
That’s it, you’re done, download and install Superuser app on the phone, enjoy!
