How To Root Galaxy S3 I9300T With CF-Root Tool
The Samsung Galaxy S3 makes me really happy with its awesome features, in recent times the phone received the Jelly Bean Android 4.1.2 update that brings a lot of new features, some of them are ported from the Galaxy Note 2 that make the phone more impressive. Make sure USB drivers are installed on your PC, you can use Samsung KIES to install drivers but during rooting it must be disabled. Step #1: Download the Rooting Package (CF-Auto-Root-m0-m0du-gti9300t.zip) to your PC.
Step #2: Unzip the downloaded rooting package zip file into a folder.
Step #3: Open the folder where you’ve unzipped the above file and run Odin3-v1.85.exe file.
Step #4: Turn off your Galaxy S3 and reboot into download mode by holding down home, volume down and power buttons.
Step #5: Once you’re in download mode plug the device to PC using USB cable. Odin will detect the device, ID:COM will turn yellow and a message saying ADDED will appear. (Note: If Odin doesn’t detect the device, make sure that USB drivers are properly installed on your computer).
Step #6: Click on PDA Button and locate CF-Auto-Root-m0-m0du-gti9300t.tar.md5 from the folder where you’ve unzipped above file in the step 2. (Note: Don’t make any change, just make sure that re-partition is unchecked).
Step #7: Click on Start button to start installation, once the installation done, your device will reboot itself and you’ll see message saying PASS (Note: If Odin refuse to install the update and show message FAIL, or get stuck, close the Odin and unplug device, then pull out battery from the device for a few seconds. Then put the battery back to the device and reboot into download mode. Then install the firmware again) your phone will reboot into recovery mode, there it will root the phone and then reboot phone again.
Step #8: Unplug your Galaxy S3 I9300T from the PC.
