How To Root new Nexus 7 with SuperSU [2013 variant]


The new Nexus 7 can give you surly a new stock Android experience with various good features and of course it is enough for a lot of opportunities to make your life much better than before. This is the reason that force us to make statement that the new Nexus 7 is a great improvement to original, however if you still are not a bit satisfied with that and want more, rooting new Nexus 7 can make you able to do much more than stock tablet by the virtue of tweaking, new Nexus 7 root enables you to customize the tablet to gain a lot more that does not come out of box.

Well-known XDA developer Chainfire has managed to obtain root access on new Nexus 7 with his famed SuperSU tool, so if you are itching to get full control over your tablet via root, give Super SU a try. The below guide shows you how to root new Nexus 7 with SuperSU (it’s for 2013 Nexus 7 variant). Make sure the TWRP recovery is installed on your tablet, you can check this guide to install TWRP.

Instructions

Step #1: Download the new Nexus 7 Super SU tool here.

Step #2: Transfer the downloaded zip file to your new Nexus 7.

Step #3: Turn the device off.

Step #4: Reboot the device into recovery mode by holding down volume up and power buttons until you see Google logo, do not leave volume up key until you enter in recovery mode.

Step #5: In recovery mode, create a nandroid backup of your current ROM, it’s important because if anything goes wrong, you’ll be able to easily revert back to your current state. To create backup “backup” and slide the blue button to confirm the action.

Step #6: Select “Install” and then locate the downloaded file that you’ve transferred in above step and confirm installation.

Step #7: Once the installation is completed, select “Go Back” after that select “Reboot System Now” to reboot your Nexus 7 2.

That’s it, your new Nexus 7 2 (2013) is rooted now, you should check the Super SU app from the app drawer. If you experience any error, leave a comment.
