How To Root Sony Xperia P – Guide


Rooting enables you to find the way that can be used to get super user rights on your Android phone, it gives you access to all system apps and root-required apps, it lets you to install any third-party app you want. Those of you own a Sony Xperia P and looking for a rooting guide, your search is over here as here’s a handy tool to give rest to your life, thanks to recognized XDA developer member Bin4ry for rooting package, his rooting package works on many Xperia devices like here we’re trying it on Xperia P.

This guide shows you how to root Xperia P using Bin4ry root tool. Keep in mind that rooting voids the warranty of your Xperia P, you’ll have to unroot the phone using official firmware to get it back. Use a Windows PC with phone drivers installed. Keep in mind that this method works on just Ice Cream Sandwich and Jelly Bean, so don’t try it on Gingerbread.

Instructions

Step #1: Download Rooting Package for Xperia P from here.

Step #2: Unzip the Root_with_Restore_by_Bin4ry_v21.zip on your desktop.

Step #3: Pick up your Xperia P and enable USB dubbing from Menu> Settings> Application> Development.

Step #4: Plug the phone to PC using a USB cable.

Step #5: Open up RunMe.bat file from the rooting package you just unzipped.

Step #6: Select Normal mode on rooting window.

Step #7: Click on Root button to start rooting.

Step #8: Once the rooting process is done, reboot your Xperia P.

That’s it, you’re done, your Xperia P is rooted now.
