How To Root the Motorola Razr i

Recently a hardworking developer unlocked the bootloader of smartphone, and of course the next thing to do is root, thanks to senior XDA developer member mattlgroff for providing us a root tool to root Razr i that works on all OS (Windows OS, Linux and Mac).
The below guide will walk you through how to root Motorola Razr i. Make sure the bootloader of you phone must be unlocked, check out this story to unlock bootloader and it’s important to note that both unlocking bootloader and rooting will void your Razr i warranty, so think before you touch your phone for anything.

Step #1: Make sure your phone drivers are installed on your computer (if you’re on Windows OS).
Step #2: Download Root Package form XDA.
Step #3: Unzip the downloaded .zip file into a folder.
Step #4: On your Razr I turn the USB Debugging on, to do so just tap Menu> Settings> Application> Development.
Step #5: Plug your phone to PC using USB cable.
Step #6: Open the folder where you’ve unzipped the root package and run the batch “Root.bat”, and follow on screen instructions.
That’s it, you’re done, your Motorola Razr i is now rooted now, enjoy!
