Some Android devices need different tweaks to improve features such as Samsung Galaxy Blaze 4G, those of you own a Galaxy Blaze S 4G and are worried about battery life and performance, here’s an interesting thing for you.

A senior XDA developer member thomas.raines has developed a tweak pack named Lightning Zap tweak pack that improve the battery life and performance of your Samsung smartphone, the tweak pack also fix some minor bugs, the pack also offer kernel, memory, RAM, cleaner, build.prop and internet speed tweaks.

Be sure to follow below guide to install the Lightning Zap tweak pack on your Galaxy Blaze 4G¸ do keep in mind that this pack is just for Gingerbread ROMs and kernels that support init.d, so if you are on Ice Cream Sandwich, don’t try it. ClockworkMod recovery must be installed on your Galaxy Blaze 4G, be sure to follow our this guide to install ClockworkMod.

Instructions

Step #1: Download the Lightning Zap tweak pack.

Step #2: Transfer the downloaded file to SD card of device.

Step #3: Turn the device off.

Step #4: Reboot the device into recovery mode (Note: In recovery mode use volume keys to navigate and power button to select).

Step #5: In recovery mode, create a nandroid backup of your current ROM, it’s important because if anything not work out that you expect from this ROM, you’ll be able to easily revert back to your current state. To create backup select “Backup and Restore”, and then select “Backup” again.

Step #6: Select “Install Zip from SD Card” then “Choose Zip from SD Card” and locate the downloaded file that you’ve transferred in above step and confirm installation. Wait till installation complete.

Step #7: Once the installation is completed, select “Go Back” after that select “Reboot System Now” (Note: After reboot, allow phone to set for 10 minutes).
