Install Android 2.3.5 Gingerbread Sense-less “Android Revolution HD” ROM on HTC Desire HD
Good news for the owners of HTC Desire HD, a new ROM “Android Revolution HD 6.3.2” has released for HTC Desire HD. This ROM has based on Android 2.3.5 Gingerbread and don’t has HTC Sense, thanks to HTC Developers member mike1986 for this effort. This ROM has so many apps that haven’t removes such as HTC Dialer – still better then Android stock one, HTC Contacts, HTC Live Wallpapers, Facebook for HTC Sense, HTC Navigation, Genie Widget and + Go Launcher EX.
If you’re interested follow below guide to install it, but keep in mind that your device must be rooted with S-Off and ClockworkMod recovery installed its battery should be charged. Please make a backup of your device data such as SMS, internet setting, contacts music files etc because the below procedure will wipe all data, you can use this app to backup.
DISCLAIMER: The below method is bit risky and we will not be held responsible if you lose data or your device gets damaged in the following of this guide so please proceed at your own risk.
Instructions
Step #1: Download the Android Revolution HD 6.3.2 ROM from here to PC and don’t extract.
Step #2: Download one no-Sense scripts: Android_Revolution_HD_0.16.zip from here or download No-Sense++1.6 (Removes more HTC components than the other script) from here to PC and don’t extract.
Step #3: Connect the device to PC and transfer the downloaded files to SD card of device.
Step #4: Disconnect the device from PC and turn it off.
Step #5: Now reboot the device into recovery mode by holding down the Volume down key and Power button simultaneously until the phone boots into recovery.
Step #6: Now Go to Backup and restore > Backup and create a Nandroid backup of your existing ROM.
Step #7: Return to the main recovery menu.
Step #8: Select “install zip from the SD card” and choose the Android Revolution HD ROM file. Confirm that you want to flash the ROM package. Do not reboot your phone at this point.
Step #9: Repeat the step 8 for no-Sense script package.
Step #10: Reboot your HTC Desire HD. That’s it you’ve installed, don’t forget to comment.
