Install Android 4.1.1 Jelly Bean Based CM10 on Galaxy Tab 10.1
Just after the Galaxy Tab 8.9, the CyanogenMod 10 preview build has been arrived for the Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1, the CyanogenMod 10 (CM10) is based on Android 4.1.1 Jelly Bean, it’s unofficial build, it gives a faster experience and new user interface, the Jelly Bean adds number of new features and apps, the ROM is available for both Wi-Fi and Wifi+3G variants, thanks to senior XDA developer member MapleSyrup.
The CyanogenMod 10 (CM10) is still in development, bugs can be expected from this ROM, since this is preview build, it’s not stable for the daily use, you can use this build just to taste Jelly Bean, however the developer will fix and make it stable as soon as possible.
Make sure ClockworkMod recovery is installed on your Galaxy Tab 10.1, you also have to make a backup of your device data such as SMS, internet setting, contacts music files etc because the below procedure may wipe data, you can sync your contacts with Gmail account and for messages use SMS apps, lastly use file expert app to backup apps.

Step #1: Download the latest version of ROM from here and Google Apps.
Step #2: Transfer the downloaded file to SD card of device.
Step #3: Turn the device off.
Step #4: Reboot the device into recovery mode, to do so, reboot tablet by holding down volume up power buttons, when screen turns on, leave power button, when a menu appear on the screen, leave volume up button to, and press volume down button to highlight recovery option and then simply press volume up, it will take you to recovery mode (Note: In recovery mode use volume keys to navigate and power button to select).
Step #5: In recovery mode, create a nandroid backup of your current ROM, it’s important because if anything not work out that you expect from this ROM, you’ll be able to easily revert back to your current state. To create backup select “Backup and Restore”, and then select “Backup” again.
Step #6: Perform full wipe, first select the wipe data/factory reset, and confirm on the next screen.
Step #7: Select “Install Zip from SD Card” then “Choose Zip from SD Card” and locate the downloaded ROM .zip file that you’ve transferred in above step and confirm installation. Wait till installation complete.
Step #8: Once again, repeat the step 7 to install Google Apps .zip file.
Step #9: Once the installation is completed, select “Go Back” after that select “Reboot System Now.”
