Install Android 4.1 Asylum CM10 ROM on AT&T Galaxy S3
We already has brought CyanogenMod 10 (CM10) for the AT&T Galaxy S3 but it wasn’t so stable, however, now another CyanogenMod 10 based custom ROM has been out for your AT&T Galaxy S3 with the name of Asylum CM10, the ROM is packed with impressive features that gives you a new Jelly Bean experience, it hasn’t only CM10 features but also some extra to boost the experience, as well as bring Jelly Bean features because CM10 is based on Android 4.1.1 Jelly Bean, thanks to senior XDA developer member named antiochasylum for developing this custom ROM.
The developer has removed some bloatware from it such as settings background and pop-ups, it already includes SuperSU app and Apex launcher app (features customizable 9 homescreen grid size and much more), and it has many useful tweaks to tweak the interface and more. Its size is bit smaller than the original CyanogenMod 10 but give better experience.
The ROM still being updated and contains some bugs, however, everything is working, it just don’t show screen flicker when transition rendering, and the developer will update it soon, so give it a try.

You also need to make a backup of your device data such as SMS, internet setting, contacts music files etc because the below procedure may wipe data, you can sync your contacts with Gmail account and for messages use SMS apps, lastly use file expert app to backup apps.

Step #2: Transfer both downloaded files to the internal SD card of phone.
Step #3: Turn the device off.
Step #4: Reboot the device into recovery mode by holding down volume up, home and power buttons.
Step #5: In recovery mode, create a nandroid backup of your current ROM, it’s important because if anything not work out that you expect from this ROM, you’ll be able to easily revert back to your current state. To create backup select “Backup and Restore”, and then select “Backup” again.
Step #6: Perform full wipe, first select the wipe data/factory reset, and confirm on the next screen.
Step #7: Return to main menu by selecting “Go Back”.
Step #8: Select “Install Zip from SD Card” then “Choose Zip from SD Card” and locate the downloaded ROM .zip file that you’ve transferred in above step and confirm installation. Wait till installation complete.
Step #9: Once the ROM .zip file is installed, once again repeat the previous step to install Google Apps .zip file in the same manner.
Step #10: Once the installation is completed, select “Go Back” after that select “Reboot System Now.”
