There are just four US Galaxy S3 variants are available and three of them already has received almost all popular Jelly Bean ROMs but the Verizon is bit late due to its locked bootloader, just a few days ago, Android development community successfully unlocked the smartphone’s bootloader and now we’re able to many releases from the development community like recently MIUI released for it unofficially that based on Android 4.1.1 Jelly Bean, thanks to XDA developer member Bleelas for this effort.
The MIUI ROM is well-known due to its unique and stunning interface, it gives a beautiful look and feel to your smartphone, it features intuitive status bar and a stunning home launcher. The MIUI team packed the ROM with a lot of useful features such as theme manager (many themes are available), better privacy protection and many other tweaks. The Jelly Bean also comes with number of new features and apps like the new Google Now app, new smarter keyboard, new notification bar, new camera app and much more.
The ROM is still under development and contains some bugs and issues, like notification sounds and might be some other sounds won’t play until you turned the volume all the way, to fix this issue, go to Setting> Phone Ringtone, there select anything you want, if it doesn’t play, you have to turn volume up and select it. The LED doesn’t stop flashing, the developer will iron out bugs soon in near future.
