Install Android 4.2 AOKP for Nexus 10 P8110
If you love the deep customization on your Android device, the AOKP is one of best custom ROM you’re looking for that can offer what you want, the AOKP (Android Open Kang Project) ROM lets you to explore almost the every aspect of your Android device even with native UI, but some previous months were forcing AOKP users to jump another one due to lack of Android 4.2 support, but finally wait is over and Kang team has released Android 4.2 based AOKP build for the Nexus 10 P8110. The new build brought numerous useful features such as unlimited lock screen widgets of any kind, menu arrow keys while typing, statusbar transparency, safe headset volume warning toggle and many more even this build also fixed bugs.
This guide shows you how to install Android 4.2.1 Jelly Bean based AOKP ROM for the Nexus 10 P8110. Keep in mind that your tablet must have an unlocked bootloader with ClockworkMod recovery installed, check this guide to unlock bootloader, this guide to install ClockworkMod or check this all-in-toolkit to do everything quickly. Be sure to backup everything because the below procedure may wipe data, you can sync your contacts with Gmail account and for messages use SMS apps, lastly use file expert app to backup apps.

Step #2: Transfer both zip files to your Nexus 10.
Step #3: Turn the device off.
Step #4: Reboot the device into recovery mode by holding down volume down and power button (Note: In recovery mode use volume keys to navigate and power button to select).
Step #5: In recovery mode, create a nandroid backup of your current ROM, it’s important because if anything not work out that you expect from this ROM, you’ll be able to easily revert back to your current state. To create backup select “Backup and Restore”, and then select “Backup” again.
Step #6: Perform full wipe, first select the wipe data/factory reset, and confirm on the next screen.
Step #7: Return to main menu by selecting “Go Back”.
Step #8: Select “Install Zip from SD Card” then “Choose Zip from SD Card” and locate the downloaded ROM zip file that you’ve transferred in above step and confirm installation.
Step #9: Repeat the previous step and install the Google Apps zip file in the same manner.
Step #10: Once the installation is completed, select “Go Back” after that select “Reboot System Now” to reboot your tablet.
