Install Android 4.2 Based CyanogenMod 10.1 for Droid RAZR HD
The Android 4.2 Jelly Bean based CyanogenMod 10.1 ROM has been released for the Motorola Droid RAZR HD unofficially by a senior XDA developer dhacker29. The CyanogenMod offers a impressive bunch of customization options while giving you all Android 4.2 features such as gesture-based keyboard, improved Google Now app, panorama photography mode, lockscreen widgets, better performance and more.
Keep in mind that this CyanogenMod 10.1 build is still being updated and a few features aren’t working currently such as Audio in-call, NFC, Camera, and Wifi Hotspot, however we hope that the developer will iron out all bugs in near future, so you can give it a try taste the Android 4.2 Jelly Beans.

Step #1: Download the latest version of CyanogenMod 10.1 ROM (Note: For latest version, check XDA thread) and Google Apps package.
Step #2: Copy both zip files to the SD card of your Motorola Droid RAZR HD.
Step #3: Turn your phone off.
Step #4: Reboot phone, when Motorola splash screen and you see Safestrap screen appear disabled in red, hit recovery button to enter in recovery mode.
Step #5: Press backup button to make a backup, then slide the button to next screen to confirm the action, it’s important because if anything not work out that you expect from this ROM, you’ll be able to easily revert back to your current state.
Step #6: Step up a ROM slot for CyanogenMod 10.1, press Boot Options in the main Safestrap menu, then tap ROM-Slot-1. Then set the data partition to a minimum of 1GB, it will be enough for you, it may take time.
Step #7: Go to main menu, select “install” and locate the ROM zip file to start installation.
Step #8: Repeat the previous step and install Google Apps package.
Step #9: Select “reboot system” to reboot phone, during rebooting the Safestrap will appear enabled in green, after a few seconds your phone will reboot into CyanogenMod.
That’s it, you’re done, the CyanogenMod 10.1 is now installed on your phone, enjoy!
