It’s rain of Jelly Bean, after the release of Google Jelly Bean AOSP (Android Open Source Project) source code, the Jelly Bean is showing up for more and more Android devices and now also available for the Acer Iconia A100. This Android 4.1 Jelly Bean is ported from the Acer Iconia A500 build and it’s fully AOSP build.

This Jelly Bean build was a SDK port but with source code, the developer turns it into AOSP build, thanks to senior XDA developer member pio_masaki. It’s stable but still in development stage and some things aren’t working yet such as Camera, Gallery and Sound (kind of). But mostly tablet users don’t use the camera typically, so it’s worthy to try, you can use this Jelly Bean port for daily drive and the developer will fix all issues soon in near future.
