Install AOKP Milestone 6 on HTC Sensation via KingKang ROM
Recently Milestone AOKP updated to version 6 that is bit more stable and has more customization options but now available for HTC Sensation yet, however KingKang custom ROM has just been released for the HTC Sensation and it based on AOKP Milestone 6, thanks to XDA developer member InfinityFTW.
The ROM comes with many home launchers such as Nova Launcher, Go Launcher EX, Apex Launcher and Xperia Home. It also has different themes, navigation bar, status bar and more. It’s pre-rooted custom ROM and has number of other customizable and useful features that will stock Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich experience.
Read on how to install KingKang ROM on HTC Sensation but first make sure that bootloader of your HTC Sensation is unlocked with S-Off, and ClockworkMod recovery also should be installed on your device, you can follow our this guide to install ClockworkMod Touch Recovery. Make a backup of your device data such as SMS, internet setting, contacts music files etc because the below procedure may wipe data, you can sync your contacts with Gmail account and for messages use SMS apps, lastly use file expert app to backup apps.

Instructions
Step #1: Download the KingKang custom ROM and also download Google Apps, then copy both files to the SD card of your device.
Step #2: Turn the device off.
Step #3: Reboot the device into recovery mode by holding down volume down and power button, first device will enter in HBOOT, there use volume keys to navigate and navigate to recovery option, then use power button to enter into recovery mode.
Step #4: In recovery mode, create a nandroid backup of your current ROM, it’s important because if anything not work out that you expect from this ROM, you’ll be able to easily revert back to your current state. To create backup select “Backup and Restore”, and then select “Backup” again.
Step #5: Perform full wipe, first select the wipe data/factory reset, and confirm on the next screen.
Step #6: Select “Install Zip from SD Card” then “Choose Zip from SD Card” and locate the downloaded ROM .zip file that you’ve transferred in above step and confirm installation. Wait till installation complete.
Step #7: Once again repeat the last step and install Google Apps package .zip file.
Step #8: Once the installation is completed, select “Go Back” after that select “Reboot System Now.”
