Install AOKP On Galaxy Tab 2 7.0 GT-P3113
AOKP is one of popular custom ROM for Android devices, the ROM offers plenty of customization options. The ROM is based on latest Google’s mobile operating system Android 4.0.4 Ice Cream Sandwich. It brings a smooth and fast performance on device. The ROM has been released for number of Android devices and now also available for your newly purchased Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 7.0, thanks to recognized XDA developer member nycbir.
The ROM has numerous great features such as Dropbox, Android Assistant, File manger HD, GPS status and the Titanium Backup app that allows you make a backup of your device data. The ROM is still in development stage and not official so you can expect some bugs but almost everything working well, so must try this ROM on your Galaxy Tab 2 7.0, follow the below guide to install this ROM.
Before you start installation first keep in mind that ClockworkMod recovery should be installed on device, you can follow this guide to install and charge the device battery then make a backup of your device data such as SMS, internet setting, contacts music files etc because the below procedure may wipe data, you can sync your contacts with Gmail account and for messages use SMS apps, lastly use file expert app to backup apps.

Step #2: Transfer the downloaded files to SD card of device.
Step #3: Turn the device off.
Step #4: Reboot the device into recovery mode by holding down volume up, home and power button until screen turn on (Note: In recovery mode use volume keys to navigate and power button to select).
Step #5: In recovery mode, create a nandroid backup of your current ROM, it’s important because if anything not work out that you expect from this ROM, you’ll be able to easily revert back to your current state. To create backup select “Backup and Restore”, and then select “Backup” again.
Step #6: Perform wipe, first select the wipe data/factory reset, and confirm on the next screen then select wipe cache and confirm on the next screen, lastly Clear the dalvik cache (under advanced).
Step #7: Select “Install Zip from SD Card” then “Choose Zip from SD Card” and locate the downloaded ROM file that you’ve transferred in above step and confirm installation. Wait till installation complete.
Step #8: Once again repeat the last step to install the Google apps.
Step #9: Once the installation is completed, select “Go Back” after that select “Reboot System Now.”
