There are number of Android devices that has received Android 4.1.1 Jelly Bean based CyanogenMod 10 ROM and it’s AOSP (Android Open Source Project) based ROM, so it provides your stock Jelly Bean experience and it brings a faster performance, the ROM features a smooth user interface and now also has been released for the Galaxy Tab 7.7 model number P6800, P6810, and I815. The ROM is packed with many customization options and it improves previous features too.
Since Jelly Bean based CM10 ROMs are under development, bugs can be expected, the developer will iron out them soon in near future, the ROM has following bugs currently
CM10 is in a primitive state, many features are still missing or don’t work
HDMI dongle doesn’t work
Some USB keyboards aren’t working
Dock Audio doesn’t work
I815: CDMA and LTE isn’t enabled
I815: GPS doesn’t work
I815: Autobrightness is broken
Read on how to install CyanogenMod 10 on Galaxy Tab 7.7, make sure that the ClockworkMod custom recovery is installed on your tablet and make a backup of your device data such as SMS, internet setting, contacts music files etc because the below procedure may wipe data, you can sync your contacts with Gmail account and for messages use SMS apps, lastly use file expert app to backup apps.

Step #2: Transfer the downloaded file to SD card of device.
Step #3: Turn the device off.
Step #4: Reboot the device into recovery mode by holding down volume up and power buttons, when screen turns on, leave power button but not volume up button until you enter in recovery mode (Note: In recovery mode use volume keys to navigate and power button to select).
Step #5: In recovery mode, create a nandroid backup of your current ROM, it’s important because if anything not work out that you expect from this ROM, you’ll be able to easily revert back to your current state. To create backup select “Backup and Restore”, and then select “Backup” again.
Step #6: Perform full wipe, first select the wipe data/factory reset, and confirm on the next screen.
Step #7: Select “Install Zip from SD Card” then “Choose Zip from SD Card” and locate the downloaded ROM file that you’ve transferred in above step and confirm installation. Once it done, install Google Apps .zip file in the same manner.
Step #8: Once the installation is completed, select “Go Back” after that select “Reboot System Now.”
