Install CyanogenMod 10.1 Milestone for Nexus 10 P8110
Whenever we think about a custom ROM to try on our Android devices, the CyanogenMod name mostly come first to the mind but some people don’t love to try CyanogenMod nightly builds as they might bring bugs with new builds but now CyanogenMod Milestone build is one of best alternative to nightly build.
The CyanogenMod 10.1 Milestone builds are reliable and of course stable too, they should be considered suitable for everyday use. The Samsung Nexus 10 is one of lucky Android tablet that has got CyanogenMod team’s attention first for the CyanogenMod M-Series (milestone) build.

Your Nexus 10 must have unlocked bootloader with a custom recovery, you can follow this guide to install ClockworkMod recovery or this guide to install TWRP recovery and check this guide to unlock bootloader. You can also use all-in-one toolkit to do so. Backup everything make a backup of your device data such as SMS, internet setting, contacts music files etc because the below procedure may wipe data, you can sync your contacts with Gmail account and for messages use SMS apps, lastly use file expert app to backup apps.

Step #2: Transfer the downloaded file to your Nexus 10 tablet.
Step #3: Turn the device off.
Step #4: Reboot the device into recovery mode, to do so reboot tablet by holding down volume down and power buttons until you enter in bootloader mode, there select and enter in recovery (Note: In recovery mode use volume keys to navigate and power button to select).
Step #5: In recovery mode, create a nandroid backup of your current ROM, it’s important because if anything not work out that you expect from this ROM, you’ll be able to easily revert back to your current state. To create backup select “Backup and Restore”, and then select “Backup” again. If you’re using TWRP recovery, select “backup” and confirm action.
Step #6: Perform full wipe, first select the wipe data/factory reset, and confirm on the next screen, if you’re on TWRP, select “wipe” and then factory reset.
Step #7: Return to main menu by selecting “Go Back”.
Step #8: Select “Install Zip from SD Card” then “Choose Zip from SD Card” and locate the downloaded ROM zip file that you’ve transferred in above step and confirm installation.
Step #9: Repeat the last step and install the Google Apps package zip file in same manners.
Step #10: Once the installation is completed, select “Go Back” after that select “Reboot System Now” to reboot your Nexus 10.
