Install CyanogenMod 10.1 nightlies for Transformer Pad TF300T [official]
Own an ASUS Transformer Pad TF300T? Good news for you, the CyanogenMod team has finally released the CyanogenMod 10.1 ROM for the Transformer Pad TF300T officially that is based on Android 4.2.1 Jelly Bean.
The CyanogenMod is AOSP-based custom ROM, it gives you a stock Android experience but also offers many customizable features to optimize the interface and some handy apps while Android 4.2.1 also brings many new useful features such as gesture-based keyboard, panorama photography mode, improved Google now app and more. This is CyanogenMod 10.1 nightly build, for unfamiliar the nightly build generates new builds automatically to bring new improvements but keep in mind that new builds might contain bugs.
This guide shows you how to install CyanogenMod 10.1 ROM for Transformer TF700T. Make sure the ClockworkMod recovery is installed on the tablet and its bootloader is unlocked, you may check this guide to unlock bootloader and this guide install ClockworkMod and make a backup of your device data such as SMS, internet setting, contacts music files etc because the below procedure may wipe data, you can sync your contacts with Gmail account and for messages use SMS apps, lastly use file expert app to backup apps.

Step #1: Download the latest version of CyanogenMod ROM and Google Apps package from here [XDA Link].
Step #2: Transfer both downloaded zip files to the internal SD card of device.
Step #3: Turn the device off.
Step #4: Reboot the device into recovery mode, to do so reboot tablet by holding down volume down and power button until screen turn on saying press volume up, then press it to enter in recovery.
Step #5: In recovery mode, create a nandroid backup of your current ROM, it’s important because if anything not work out that you expect from this ROM, you’ll be able to easily revert back to your current state. To create backup select “Backup and Restore”, and then select “Backup” again.
Step #6: Perform full wipe, first select the wipe data/factory reset, and confirm on the next screen.
Step #7: Return to main menu by selecting “Go Back”.
Step #8: Select “Install Zip from SD Card” then “Choose Zip from SD Card” and locate the downloaded ROM zip file that you’ve transferred in above step and confirm installation.
Step #9: Once the ROM zip file is installed, repeat the previous step and install the Google Apps package zip file in the same manner.
Step #10: Once the installation is completed, select “Go Back” after that select “Reboot System Now” to reboot tablet.
