Install CyanogenMod 10 Nightlies on Motorola Xoom Wi-Fi and LTE
The first Android Jelly Bean tablet, Motorola Xoom that receive Jelly Bean first, now receiving CyanogenMod 10 nightly build that based on Android 4.1.1 Jelly Bean, the sweetness of CyanogenMod has finally arrived after a long wait, and it’s available for both, Wi-Fi and LTE version. It’s a great news for Motorola Xoom LTE version, because back in July Motorola rolled out the Jelly Bean update officially for the Xoom Wi-Fi version but LTE version users are still waiting for official Jelly Bean update but now they can taste the Jelly Bean via this most popular CyanogenMod custom ROM.
It’s important to note that nightly builds make new build automatically daily and they considering bleeding edge ROMs, so you might face bugs.
Read on how to install CM10 Nightlies on Motorola Xoom LTE and Wi-Fi, your device must be rooted with ClockworkMod recovery installed, get instructions here. Be sure to make a backup of your device data such as SMS, internet setting, contacts music files etc because the below procedure may wipe data, you can sync your contacts with Gmail account and for messages use SMS apps, lastly use file expert app to backup apps.

Step #2: Download the latest version Jelly Bean Google Apps from here.
Step #3: Transfer both downloaded .zip files to the SD card of device.
Step #4: Turn the device off.
Step #5: Reboot the device into recovery mode by holding down volume up + power buttons until you see Motorola logo, there press volume down and “Android Recovery” will show up, then press volume up to boot into recovery (Note: In recovery mode use volume keys to navigate and power button to select).
Step #6: In recovery mode, create a nandroid backup of your current ROM, it’s important because if anything not work out that you expect from this ROM, you’ll be able to easily revert back to your current state. To create backup select “Backup and Restore”, and then select “Backup” again.
Step #7: Perform full wipe, first select the wipe data/factory reset, and confirm on the next screen then select wipe cache and confirm on the next screen.
Step #8: Select “Install Zip from SD Card” then “Choose Zip from SD Card” and locate the downloaded ROM .zip file that you’ve transferred in above step and confirm installation. Wait till installation complete.
Step #9: Once again, repeat the previous step but now install Google Apps .zip file in the same manner.
Step #10: Once the installation is completed, select “Go Back” after that select “Reboot System Now.”
