Install Galaxy S3 Themed ROM on Galaxy S2 GT-9100
Samsung Galaxy S3 not only comes with powerful specs and features but also with stunning themes and wallpapers, the developers ported many Galaxy S3 goodies to other Android devices. Salman custom ROM has been released for the Samsung Galaxy S3 developed by XDA developer member android_isda_shit. This ROM comes with Galaxy S3’s themes and wallpapers and number of other great features.
The ROM is based on Android 4.0.3 Ice Cream Sandwich XWLPG firmware, it has no bloatware and it’s pre-rooted custom ROM, the developer packed the ROM with TouchwizUX-1.5.1-4×5, it also has Galaxy S3 sounds, icons and widgets. The ROM support English and ARABIC language. It’s pretty stable and fast custom ROM and it will turn your Galaxy S2 to into Galaxy S3.
Read on how to install SalmanROM on your Galaxy S2 to give Galaxy S3 look and feel but first do keep in mind that your device should be on Android 4.0 firmware and rooted with ClockworkMod recovery installed, make a backup of your device data such as SMS, internet setting, contacts music files etc because the below procedure may wipe data, you can sync your contacts with Gmail account and for messages use SMS apps, lastly use file expert app to backup apps.

Step #1: Download SalmacROM and copy the .zip file to the SD card of device.
Step #2: Power off the phone and put it into recovery mode, to do so turn it on by holding down volume up, home and power buttons.
Step #3: In recovery mode, create a nandroid backup of your current ROM, it’s important because if anything not work out that you expect from this ROM, you’ll be able to easily revert back to your current state. To create backup select “Backup and Restore”, and then select “Backup” again.
Step #4: Perform full wipe, first select the wipe data/factory reset, and confirm on the next screen then select wipe cache and confirm on the next screen. Lastly also select “advanced” and clear the Dalvik cache too if you are on the custom ROM.
Step #5: Select “Install Zip from SD Card” then “Choose Zip from SD Card” and locate the downloaded file that you’ve transferred in above step and confirm installation. Wait till installation complete.
Step #6: Once the installation is completed, select “Go Back” after that select “Reboot System Now.” The first boot may take time, so wait.
That’s it, you’re done. Enjoy Galaxy S3 look and feel on your Galaxy S2.
