Install Galaxy S3 TouchWiz Launcher on Galaxy S GT-I9000

A few days ago, the folks over XDA ported the TouchWiz launcher of the Samsung Galaxy S3 to the Samsung Galaxy S, and now the launcher is also available for original Samsung Galaxy S, thanks to XDA developer member “froilson”, it’s great to use the latest Samsung smartphone’s touchwiz launcher on Galaxy S.

The launcher works on just custom Ice Cream Sandwich ROMs, so don’t try it on Gingerbread. See below guide to install Samsung Galaxy S3’s TouchWiz launcher on Samsung Galaxy S, but once again first make sure that your Galaxy S is running Ice Cream Sandwich ROM.

Instructions

Step #1: Download the TouchWiz launcher to PC.

Step #2: Plug the device to PC using USB cable.

Step #3: Transfer the downloaded file to SD card of device.

Step #4: Disconnect the device from PC.

Step #5: Turn the device off.

Step #6: Reboot the device into recovery mode by holding down volume up, home buttons and power button until screen turns on, (Note: In recovery mode use volume keys to navigate and power button to select).

Step #7: Select “Install Zip from SD Card” then “Choose Zip from SD Card” and locate the downloaded file that you’ve transferred in above step and confirm installation. Wait till installation complete.

Step #8: Once the installation is completed, select “Go Back” after that select “Reboot System Now.”

I have the gt-i9000M, and it does not have the good signature for my phone. Could you help me with that?

Will this keep all my internet and wi-fi settings or is a full OS install?

  I didnt notice that but for safety you should save the setting, install it it has been tested….

Hi!

I have AT&T’s Samsung Infuse 4G (Unlocked) and currently running CM10, can I install this TW Launcher on my phone?

Or do you have any alternate option to get TW Launcher of S3 on Samsung Infuse 4G?
