Install HTC One V ICS ROM On Your Desire S and Desire HD
Good news for the owners of Desire S and Desire HD, now they can install HTC One V Ice Cream Sandwich on their device, say thanks to XDA developers “proxuser”, who made an Android 4.0.3 ROM HTC Sense 4.0. Since HTC One V is better than Desire device, so you can say it unstable but Android community isn’t agree with it, he even says that is the fastest and most stable ROM for the devices, but despite the claims, the port doesn’t come without its issues.
However developer mentioned some bugs like camera, Wi-Fi hotspot, and SD card mounting functions. If you’re interested follow below guide to install it, but keep in mind that your device must be rooted with ClockworkMod recovery installed its battery should be charged. Please make a backup of your device data because the below procedure will wipe all data.

Instructions
Step #1: First download from here or here to PC.
Step #2: Copy the downloaded file under /sdcard directory on your Desire S or Desire HD.
Step #3: Disconnect the device from PC and turn the device off.
Step #4: Reboot the device into recovery mode, just press and hold the Volume Up + Power buttons until you get into ClockworkMod Recovery.
Step #5: Take a nandroid backup.
Step #6: Now from main menu, do a (wipe data/) factory reset, wipe cache partition and from advancedmenu, wipe Dalvik cache.
Step #7: Once again, go back to main menu. Navigate to install zip from sdcard > choose zip from sdcard and select the .zip file you transferred to your device in Step 2.
Step 8: Once the flashing done, choose reboot system now.
