Install HTC Sense 4.0 on Samsung Galaxy S2 GT-I9100


The amazing graphical user interface of HTC Sense 4.0 has been arrived for your Samsung Galaxy S2, its skins are famous for resource-hogging options. In fact a XDA developer member Paradoxxx has released Sense 4 all custom ROM custom ROM for the Galaxy S2 that includes HTC Sense 4.0

The ROM is packed with numerous useful features, it’s based on Android 4.0.3 Ice Cream Sandwich but it still in development stage, which means it has some bugs like developer mentioned that Sound, WiFi, Bluetooth, and Widgets (Need proper Rosie) aren’t working, you might also face rnndom SoftReboots, one another thing you should keep in mind that is that HTC Ime Doesn’t work, you can receive SMS but can’t send. The developer will fix these bugs soon in near future but if you really want to taste HTC Sense 4.0 on your Galaxy S2, follow the below guide to install this ROM.

Before installation first note that your device must be rooted with ClockworkMod recovery installed its battery should be charged. Make a backup of your device data such as SMS, internet setting, contacts music files etc because the below procedure may wipe data, you can sync your contacts with Gmail account and for messages use SMS apps, lastly use file expert app to backup apps.

Instructions

Step #1: Download the latest version of ROM from here [XDA LINK] and copy the .zip file to SD card of device.

Step #2: Power off the phone and put it into recovery mode to do so reboot the device into recovery mode by holding down volume up, home and power buttons.

Step #3: In recovery mode, create a nandroid backup of your current ROM, it’s important because if anything not work out that you expect from this ROM, you’ll be able to easily revert back to your current state. To create backup select “Backup and Restore”, and then select “Backup” again.

Step #4: Select the wipe data/factory reset, and confirm on the next screen.

Step #5: Select “Install Zip from SD Card” then “Choose Zip from SD Card” and locate the downloaded file and confirm installation. Wait till installation complete.

Step #6: Once the installation is completed, select “Go Back” after that select “Reboot System Now.”
