Install Jelly Bean AOKP on Galaxy S3 GT-I9300 [Unofficial Build]
Almost everywhere people trying to get Jelly Bean on their Android devices, the AT&T Galaxy S3 recently received an AOKP build that has also been ported to the original Galaxy S3 Gt-I9300, this AOKP build is based on Android 4.1.1 Jelly Bean, it’s unofficial AOKP build, thanks to recognized XDA developer member Faryaab for this great effort. As most of you know well that, AOKP ROM is well-known due to its customizable features, the ROM brings a faster experience and now also all Jelly Bean features such as smarter keyboard, Google Now app, new notification bar, better camera app and much more.
Please do keep in mind that it’s just preview build of AOKP Jelly Bean ROM, so things may not work fine and you may face bugs, however the developer will iron out these bugs soon in near future and the ROM is ready for try.

Make sure that a custom recovery is installed on your Galaxy S3, you can follow our this guide to install ClockworkMod recovery 6.0, you also need to make a backup of your device data such as SMS, internet setting, contacts music files etc because the below procedure may wipe data, you can sync your contacts with Gmail account and for messages use SMS apps, lastly use file expert app to backup apps.

Instructions
Step #1: Download the latest version of ROM from here and Google Apps from here.
Step #2: Place ROM .zip file and gapps-jb-20120726-signed.zip file into the internal SD card of your Galaxy S3.
Step #3: Turn off phone and reboot the device into recovery mode by holding down volume up, home and power buttons.
Step #5: In recovery mode, create a nandroid backup of your current ROM, if anything doesn’t work, this backup will take you back to current state. To create backup select “Backup and Restore”, and then select “Backup” again.
Step #6: Perform full wipe, select the wipe data/factory reset, and confirm on the next screen.
Step #7: Select “Install Zip from SD Card” then “Choose Zip from SD Card” and locate the downloaded ROM file that you’ve transferred in above step and confirm installation.
Step #8: After ROM .zip file installation, install Google Apps .zip file in the same manner.
Step #9: Once the installation is done, select “Go Back” after that select “Reboot System Now.”
