Install Jelly Bean Based JRO03H ROM on Sprint Galaxy Nexus

Timely updates are what, you purchase Nexus devices for, that also help you to get custom ROMs. JRO03H is a new custom ROM for the Sprint Galaxy Nexus that based on Android 4.1 Jelly Bean, the ROM is built from official stock JRO03H source codes and also has CyanogenMod 10 modification such as better power menu, CyanogenMod power widgets, lockscreen targets, clock mod, T-mobile Theme Manager, volume wake, better color changer, performance settings and many other MODs and tweaks, thanks to recognized XDA developer member maddoggin.

Instructions

Step #1: Download the latest version of ROM from here [XDA LINK].

Step #2: Transfer the downloaded file to phone.

Step #3: Turn the device off.

Step #4: Reboot the device into recovery mode, to do so, reboot phone by holding down volume up, volume down and power buttons, the device will reboot into fastboot mode, in fastboot mode, use volume keys to navigate and power button to select and select recovery option.

Step #5: In recovery mode, create a nandroid backup of your current ROM, it’s important because if anything not work out that you expect from this ROM, you’ll be able to easily revert back to your current state. To create backup select “Backup and Restore”, and then select “Backup” again.

Step #6: Perform full wipe, first select the wipe data/factory reset, and confirm on the next screen.

Step #7: Select Install and locate the downloaded file that you’ve transferred in above step and confirm installation. Wait till installation complete.

Step #8: Once the installation is completed, select “Go Back” after that select “Reboot System Now.”
